naples

naples for x-mas? sounds very good right about now.
the winter storm i'm sure you've all heard about dumped about 2 inches of rain/sleet/freezing rain and now ICE over the evening/night. then we got about an inch or so of snow on top of that. woke to find a pine tree from our yard had fallen through a fence and into our neighbor's yard- JUST missing their SUV. the trunk landed a few feet behind the parked vehicle, but there are branches all over it. waiting for their insurance to come out to take pics so we can get out the chainsaw to start chopping it up. sigh- too cheap to call a tree service although we probably should (based on the size of this damn thing). we'll keep ya posted.
i'm off work today thankfully and steph stayed home as well and is working from the house. hope all is well by tomorrow when i'm due back to work.
