Saw Sarah off to Jury Duty and left St. Louis a little after 9:00 AM headed southwest on I-44. I-44 and then I-40 out of Oklahoma City were built on and next to old US-66. We tried out the old route now and then when access and egress were relatively simple. Stopped for lunch at the Carthage Diner in SW Missouri. Then over the state line and on to El Reno, OK where we enjoyed onion burgers at Johnnie's Grill. Set up camp at Red Rock Canyon State Park near Hinton, OK.
