Rob and Annie's Road Trip - Day 1
Well, OK. Here we go.
(Click on the link below to see our first day's route on Google Maps.)

July 17
We left the house at 8:02 and arrived at Spandril Lane at 4:50. If you look on the Google Map of the first day it says on the left that the trip is 475 miles and that it should take us 8 hours and 48 minutes. Well, do the math. It took us exactly 8 hours and 48 minutes (3 stops). How cool is that?
The weather in Salisbury was warm and clear. We ran into some rain once in NC but the temp dropped from 91 degrees to 85.
Once in we went immediately to watch Madison and Morgan at gymnastics. Madison does excellent round offs and won the prize for most toe touches (hanging on one parallel bar [can you have one of something parallel?] Morgan only had to go potty once.
Tasty chicken and broccoli dinner followed by a slide show of their very recent trip to Orlando (T for work) and visits to Disneyworld, Universal Studios and Sea World.
Early to bed for me and Annie.
No pix.

I tried to e-mail the fam to tell them we're up and blogging but something won't let me send e-mail.(I'm on wi-fi using my "new" laptop.)
When you have a chance would you please get an e-mail alert out to everyone? Thanks.
i'm on it dad!
OK, so dad wants to lose 10 lbs during this trip. That said, please amend/cancel all meal plans for him and feed him tour towns local low fat/low cal foods, i.e. St. Louis, well St. Louis' idea of low fat is only one order of the fried ravioli, not two. So maybe find him some rice cakes or something. Sonoma, some sort of tofu or soy based hippie food. Leland, some cherries. Bay Village, cabbage rolls.
cute t. real friggin cute.
