Detox- West Coast... Maybe I should weigh myself...

Actually, I don't think I've lost a pound... I can't shake this cold/flu/bug, which has sapped my energy and made changing my eating habits challenging. That said, I have stopped drinking (alcohol) and except for an occasional scone in the morning, I've stopped eating sweets (major accomplishment!). I'm still snacking though - see above - but hope to beat that before January runs out. I'm trying to increase exercising from whenever to 3-4 times a week. I tried the morning, but just can't get up early enough to do it... tried the evening, but I'm just too tired when I get home. So, I started bringing my sweats to work so I can work out during lunch. I think this will work, once I get over whatever is coursing through my system.
Caryn's doing really well. No alcohol, no sweets, exercises regularily... Really pisses me off.... (just kidding).
We're very excited that Emily's coming home on Friday. She'll be here until mid Feb and then she's off to Thailand until her money runs out or her next stint in Alaska starts, which ever comes first.

Last night at Patty's surprise 60th we were discussing your detox program....hopefully it continues to go well.
All Cleveland area Readings were present except for Judy (teaching). David was my date.
Met Mark , Morgan and Taylor for the first time. All at the right age to be very cute...and they were. Shirl and Rick look and seem great. Gary now working for AFLAC and has a new lady friend. Annie broke here elbow slipping on the ice in Burlington. Janey is coming from Arizona for a visit in February. Met most of Patty's family (FL and NJ) for the first time since the wedding. Patty was truely "surprised" and a good time had by all.
